Welcome to the Garden Suite, a beautifully updated studio suite at Rockwell Ridge—just off Route 151 and steps from Veritas Winery 🍷🌄

Designed for couples, small families, and friends, the Garden Suite features a fully equipped designer kitchen, king bed, walk-in rainfall shower, and modern mountain-inspired finishes—all with easy access to Rockwell Ridge's 30+ acres of trails, creeks, and outdoor spaces.

The Garden Suite is located on the lower level of the main inn. Like most garden-level accommodations, you may hear footsteps or normal household noise from the suite above.

We've added sound-insulating construction, provide a white noise machine and complimentary earplugs, and many guests find the space quiet and comfortable. However, if you're an especially light sleeper or are seeking complete silence, another Rockwell Ridge suite may be a better fit.

Rockwell Ridge includes four distinct accommodations. While you may see other guests enjoying the property, the grounds are spacious and designed to provide a peaceful boutique retreat. Traveling with a larger group? Ask about reserving multiple suites or the entire property.

You’ll have access to every feature of this suite except the owner's closet in the hallway leading to the suite. Make yourself at home; your hosts are just a phone call or text away if you have any questions or want recommendations for things to do nearby. There is a keypad on the front door of the hallway, as well as into the Garden Suite for easy and secure access to the home.

We want you to have an amazing stay and make the most of your time here. We’ll give you plenty of privacy to relax and enjoy the space, but we’re always just a message or call away if you need anything. • Voices, music, and fire pit gatherings should be respectful of nearby homes and other guests on the property

Noise Guidelines

• Outdoor music must remain low volume at all times

• No amplified outdoor sound after 10 PM

• Small personal Bluetooth speakers are permitted if they do not disturb others

• Events and parties require prior approval

• Larger gatherings are only permitted when coordinated in advance to ensure compliance with local expectations and to avoid impacting other guests on the estate

The easiest and most reliable way to get around. Route 151 provides quick access to wineries, breweries, cideries, hiking areas, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Most local attractions are within a 2–20 minute drive, and Charlottesville is about 35–40 minutes away.

🚕 Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

Rideshare availability is limited and inconsistent in this rural area, especially late at night or during off-peak times. Some guests use Uber or Lyft successfully for winery visits, but availability is not guaranteed. We recommend planning transportation in advance if you intend to use rideshare services.

The immediate property is ideal for walking, with miles of private trails, creeks, and open land to explore. However, destinations outside the property—including wineries and restaurants—require driving.

🚲 Biking

Biking is possible for experienced cyclists, but roads are rural, narrow, and often hilly. Guests should use caution, especially on Route 151 where vehicle traffic can be heavy on weekends.

• We do not recommend shipping packages directly to the property, as multiple vendors access the grounds and package security cannot be guaranteed.

• If you need to ship something, please message us ahead of time and we'll do our best to help.

▹ Can you stock the kitchen or run errands before my arrival?

• Yes! When our schedule allows, we're happy to assist.

• We charge $25 per hour, plus the cost of any purchased items.

• Guests commonly request grocery shopping, beverage stocking, and coordinating catering deliveries.

• Small Bluetooth speakers are welcome at reasonable volumes.

• Rockwell Ridge is equipped with a backup generator that provides essential power during outages, although availability of power in your specific suite may be limited or subject to energy pull for other systems in the home.
